The Don Network Forum, part of the Catchment Based Approach (CaBA)
The Don Network has already produced a Don Plan by consensus, detailing the themes and priorities for action in the catchment. As hosts our aim is to build on the Don Plan and promote awareness and understanding of the Don Plan throughout the catchment, including the issues that need resolving to deliver the improvements the network wants to see.
As a result of this we would like to invite you to attend one of the following workshops based on the operational catchments as follows:
5th Feb Lower Don 1230 -1530 Potteric Carr
13th Feb Mid Don 0930 – 1230 The Source, Meadowhall
14th Feb Upper Don 0930 – 1230 Stocksbridge
18th Feb Rother 0930 – 1230 Rother Valley Golf Centre
4th March Dearne 1130 -1430 RSPB Old Moor
Each meeting will specifically focus on the ‘operational catchment’ area with the Environment Agency introducing the Waterbody Action Plans that have been compiled as a result of EA investigations. We understand that some of you will have interests in more than one operational catchment, if you want to attend just one of the workshops we can forward you the evidence packs from any other that you may be interested in.
Please make sure that you RSVP to [email protected] if you are attending to ensure that we have the correct numbers for catering.
