All Hands on the Don – conservation and restoration scheme

Overview
Contractors are invited to tender to deliver a programme of ecological enhancement works at two floodplain sites near Doncaster owned by the Environment Agency.
The work is part of the All Hands on the Don project, which is funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, Environment Agency, Yorkshire Water, the Garfield Weston Foundation and others.
We now wish to appoint a contractor to complete final designs and deliver the works.
The sites are located in Doncaster, at:
- Great Ings, Fishlake
- Sprotbrough Ings, Sprotbrough

Budget
Our budget for the design and delivery of the scheme is £40,000 – £58,000 (ex vat).
Key Dates
Request for quotations issued: 26 July 2024
Tenders to be received by: Please submit your proposal and quote by noon on Friday 23 August 2024. Your proposal should be emailed to [email protected], or addressed to Sue Goodship at the DCRT office.
Scheme delivery: The scheme must be delivered on site between 14 October 2024 and 28 February 2025.
