Meeting Point: The junction of Butterthwaite Road and Nether Shire Lane, Sheffield, S5 0AU.

Time: 10am-1pm with a break for refreshments.

We will be litter picking and clearing out the Hartley Brook. Please wear suitable outdoor clothing including long trousers, long sleeves, sturdy boots and waterproofs if necessary and wellies if you have them.

    Join the Friends of the Don Valley Way as we tackle the invasive plant Himalayan Balsam along the section of the River Don that runs alongside Hexthorpe Park. If we run out of Balsam to pull we will then do a litter pick of the Park. We will be meeting at 10am and finishing at 1pm with a break half way through for refreshments.

    Please wear suitable clothing for outdoor work including sturdy footwear, long sleeves and trousers so that you are not stung by nettles.

    Join the Friends of the Don Valley Way as we tackle the invasive plant Himalayan Balsam around the canal near Parkgate. We will also be collecting litter on our way to the Balsam site as it is a fair walk. We will be meeting at 10am on Stonerow Way near the foot bridge over the railway line, and will be finishing at 1pm with a break for refreshments half way through.

    Please wear suitable clothing for outdoor work including sturdy shoes, long sleeves and trousers to avoid being nettled.
