Work is moving on at Meadowhall, now that the concrete has been poured things should be happening quite quickly over the next couple of weeks.

Now that the dam is in place, a machine has been lowered to do the hard work of breaking the weir out to enable the fish pass to be built.
Unfortunately there have been a few delays on the work on the fish pass at Meadowhall. We had a good day at the Rivers Festival on Nursery St, Sheffield. Lots of river based groups attended and we met lots of people who were interested in our invertebrate identification with beasties taken out of the river at Blonk St – it’s teeming with them!
