Join the Don Catchment Rivers Trust as we work to remove sections of vegetation to allow people to see the Bentley Mill Dike (also known as Langthewaite Dike) along the footpath between Highfields and Bentley. All abilities welcome!
Why: We are creating the view points to allow people to see the river and therefore they will gain a respect for it and can enjoy it.
How: Members of the DCRT team will use the brush cutter to cut paths through the vegetation so people on the footpath can see the stream. Then volunteers will use loppers to make the vegetation look neat and will remove the excess vegetation using a rake. There may also be come litter picking to do along the footpath.
When: We will be meeting at 11am and finishing at 1pm with a break for refreshments in the middle.
