Daubenton’s Bat Survey

07-08-24 21:15 - 22:30

Join us for a National Bat Monitoring Scheme Waterways Survey, looking for and recording sightings of the wonderful river-loving Daubenton’s Bat. We will be completing two waterways surveys during August, on the 7th and 21st. Please note the different times of each survey as we coordinate bat surveys with sunset times.

When: Wednesday 7th August

Time: Evening session, meeting at 9.15pm, finishing at 10.30pm

Where: Marsh Gate, Doncaster DN5 8AF (parking on the road outside the Doncaster Skate Cooperative, Unit 3, near Everyday Athlete’s Club)

What to bring: Walking boots or good trainers, as the path can be muddy and we will be going down some steep slopes near the river.
DCRT will bring hi-vis and bat-detectors and lanterns.

Joining us? All are welcome, including beginners. Please note this is a wildlife survey, rather than a bat walk. We are counting numbers of a species of bat.
Please let us know if you’ll be coming so we can plan accordingly – email [email protected]
