Task: Clearing litter from both sides of the Don and along the banks.

    Join the Don Catchment Rivers Trust to remove litter from and around the Dalton Brook. Dalton Parish Council have kindly invited us to use the facilities in their hall. They have a community cafe from 9-12pm so feel free to come along early to enjoy some refreshments.

     

    Task: Litter picking. We will be working along the bankside but also aiming to get shopping trollies out of the brook.

    Join the Don Catchment Rivers Trust as we walk from Conisbrough Station along he DVW to Doncaster replacing and restoring waymarkers for the DVW. 

    When: Tuesday 22nd October 2024 10am-2pm (please note that we can not be certain when this day will finish)

    Join the Don Catchment Rivers Trust as we work to remove litter in and along the River Don in Sheffield. 

     

    When: Thursday 24th Ocotober 2024, 10am – 1pm

     

    Where: Meet at the junction of SandbedRoad and Club Mill Road, on the bank of the River Don.

    What to expect: We will be walking along the paths by the river, collecting litter and brining it back up to the road. We will aim to remove large items of litter from the river banks but will evaluate the safety of this on the day as this is the main river Don. We will have a break at 11:30 am for refreshments and biscuits, provided by DCRT.
