Wildflower ID walk at Melton Wood

10-05-24 10:00 - 11:30
Melton Wood
Address: Cannot determine address at this location.

Join us for a spring walk around Melton Wood, just north west of Sprotbrough (Doncaster). This one-off event is being held as part of the All Hands on the Don Lottery Funded project. Rebecca, our Project Assistant, will take us around the woods and show us the beautiful spring wildflowers.

This is a great chance to learn more about plant identification. Rebecca is currently undertaking a botany course with the Botanical Society of Britain and Ireland so there will be the opportunity to ask questions.

Where: Meeting at the Melton Woods Country Park car park.
Google pin: Sheep Lane, DN5 7ED
What3words: https://w3w.co/haggis.reduction.qualifier

When: 10 am start, with the walk lasting approximately 1.5 hours

What to bring: Wear suitable footwear for walking through the woods. Feel free to bring any guides you want. Refreshments will be provided by DCRT at the end of the walk.
