Young Nature Skills Day: Bushcraft at the Salmon Pass

09-04-25 12:00 - 15:00
Nursery Ln, Sprotbrough, Doncaster DN5, UK
Address: Nursery Ln, Sprotbrough, Doncaster DN5, UK

Join the Don Catchment Rivers Trust and learn about how we conserve Atlantic Salmon on the banks of the river Don.
Learn how DCRT have helped bring Atlantic Salmon back to the river Don through conservation – discover why the salmon disappeared and how we are working to bring them back to the Don!
Work together to build a campfire, using traditional tools such as flint and steel. We’ll be cooking a campfire lunch (toasties and s’mores) with a talk about salmon conservation from the DCRT team.
As it’s Easter there will also be some easter-themed bushcraft activities!
