This day is a part of the All Hands on the Don project. \nWhen: Tuesday 8th September 2026 10am-1pm \nWhere: Great Ings\, Fishlake On-street parking on Main Street down from the pub/church\nWhat three words: ///heaven.abode.portfolio\nGoogle maps link: click here \nWhat are we doing? We will be working to install a new informatrion pannel on the bank of the river don to allow the public to learn about the history of the area. If there is time we will install a second pannel in a different part of Hexthorpe. \nWhat to bring: We provide all of the equipment on the day\, however please wear suitable clothing for outdoor work including sturdy shoes or boots and long trousers. We can provide wellingtons to borrow on the day\, but please let us know in advance by emailing volunteer@dcrt.org.uk or contacting Volunteering Officer Anthony Cox. Please bring your own packed lunch if you would like to stay for the whole day. \nJoining us? All are welcome\, however not all of our sites are completely accessible \, please check the access advice below.
