SUMMARY:Moss Valley - Wetland Restoration
DESCRIPTION:Join us as we manage the vegitation on a wetland in the Moss Valley near Eckington.  \nWhen: Thursday 19th November 10am-3pm (please bring a packed lunch on the day) \nWhere: We will be meeting at the junction of gasshouse Land and Mill Rd\, Eckington\, Sheffield S21 4EP. What 3 words: ///badminton.baseballs.petty. Google Maps Pin: https://maps.app.goo.gl/1AtyY4bouS3dUNHVA \nWhat are we doing: We will be working to clear encroaching brambles from the site\, fell small trees and create habbitat piles around the site. This will allow the wetland to retain more water and ensure that we protect this vital habbitat. \nWhat to bring: We provide all of the equipment on the day\, however please wear suitable clothing for outdoor work including sturdy shoes or boots and long trousers. We can provide waders to borrow on the day\, but please let us know in advance by emailing volunteer@dcrt.org.uk or contacting Volunteering Officer Anthony Cox. Please bring your own packed lunch if you would like to stay for the whole day. \nJoining us? All are welcome\, however not all of our sites are completely accessible \, please check the access advice below. If you are a new volunteer\, please let us know in advance so we can plan accordingly by emailing volunteer@dcrt.org.uk or contacting Volunteering Officer Anthony Cox 07384543124. \n \n
