We can provide wellingtons to borrow on the day but please let us know in advance by emailing volunteer@dcrt.org.uk to ensure we have your size. \nWhat to expect: We will be walking along the paths along the river\, collecting litter and brining it back up to the road. We will have a break at 11:30 am for refreshments and biscuits\, provided by DCRT. \nJoining us? All are welcome however not all of our sites are completely accessible to all\, please check the access advice below. SUMMARY:Hexthorpe Ings – Wetland Restoration
DESCRIPTION:Hexthorpe Ings \n\n\nJoin the Don Catchment Rivers Trust as we work to clear vegitation from the Hexthorpe Ings to improve the wetland. Please bring your own packed lunch if you would like to stay for the whole day. \nWhat are we doing: On the day we will be removing scrub and trees to help the site reamain wet and prevent it from becoming woodland\, as well as increasing the sunlight reaching the wetland\, to help encourage more plants to grow and increase biodiversity.
