DESCRIPTION:Join the Don Catchment Rivers Trust as we help to remove the invasive plant species Himalayan Balsam from the River Don off Water Hall Lane \n  \nWhen: Tuesday 4th August\, 10am – 1pm \n  \nWhere: We will be working along the River Don upstream of Water Hall Lane which is the western boundary of Watermeadows Park. Water Hall Lane itself is a private road. The DCRT van will be parked outside of Water Hall House on Water Hall Lane with landowner permission. Please meet us there on foot and park elsewhere. We will have a break for refreshments and biscuits\, provided by DCRT. \n  \nWhat to bring: We provide all of the equipment on the day however please wear suitable clothing for outdoor work including sturdy shoes or boots and long trousers. Even if it is warm weather\, it is advisable to cover up to protect against spiky plants and stings. DESCRIPTION:THIS IS THE RESCHEDULED CLEAN UP SESSION THAT WAS MEANT TO HAPPEN IN JUNE BUT WAS MOVED DUE TO HOT WEATHER. \nJoin the Don Catchment Rivers Trust to remove litter from in and around the Dalton Brook. Dalton Parish Council have kindly invited us to use the facilities in their hall. They have a community cafe from 9-12pm so feel free to come along early to enjoy some refreshments. \n  \nTask: Litter picking. We will be working along the bankside and within the brook to remove litter. The paths are paved but can be muddy.
