Volunteer Training: Invasive Non-Native Species

St Mary's Bridge Stile & Fence improvements
32 North Bridge Rd, Doncaster DN5 9AN, UKAll equipment will be provided but please wear warm clothes, sturdy shoes (ideally steel-toe capped) and bring waterproofs. We will bring the tea, coffee and biscuits! We offer volunteer expenses for public transport and vehicle mileage.
Meeting Point: Meet at the entrance to the footpath on St Mary’s Bridge, next to the VW garage. Free parking is available across the road at the Three Horseshoes pub.

Ickles to Holmes Lock Litter Pick

Meeting Point: Meet in the Rotherham & Sheffield Canal Association carpark (we have permission to park vehicles here) on Brinsworth street, S60 1AB. Cross over the level-crossing and the car-park is on the immediate right. The site is in easy walking distance from Rotherham town centre along the Trans Pennine trail (see map for more details.)

Dalton Brook River Clean Up
Aldwarke Ln, Rawmarsh, Rotherham S65 3SW, UKWe’ll be getting in the river to remove fly-tipped waste, such as trolleys and tyres. This is a physical day and any volunteers that want to get in the river will need to bring wellingtons or speak to us before about borrowing waders. There is always litter to be picked around the site for any volunteers that would prefer to not handle the larger rubbish pulled out of the river.
All equipment will be provided but please wear wellies or sturdy shoes and bring waterproofs. We will bring the tea, coffee and biscuits! We offer volunteer expenses for public transport and vehicle mileage.
Meeting point: In the Asda overflow car-park, situated behind the supermarket and next to the entrance to Aldwarke lock (see map for details)
