We will be meting at the end of Guiltherwaite Cresent in Canklow. The survey will be in Canklow Woods and will involve a walk so please wear appropriate clothing and footwear. Time: 10am-1pm with a break for refreshments.

Don Gorge Day 2018

- Community Stalls with arts & crafts, activities and more by the Lock House
- Lock Demonstrations at 11am, 12am, 1pm and 2pm. Open the lock gates and guide the canal boat through using the tower control room!
- Free boat trips on the Wyre Lady at 12, 1 and 2pm (boarding at the back of the Boat Inn)
- Let’s Fish taster sessions (for under 18s) at the visitor moorings. Advance booking through our eventbrite page only FULLY BOOKED.
- Bush Craft with Living Adventure
10:00 – 11:00 – Fire craft
11:00 – 12:00 – Camouflage and concealment
13:00 – 14:00 – Shelter building
14:00 – 16:00 – Wide games - Award-winning Open Cottage Garden & Plant Sale (all donations go to the Don Gorge Community group)
