POSTPONED Citizen Science: Identification Workshop
0 Sheepbridge Ln, Dunston Rd, Chesterfield S41 9QD, UKPLEASE NOTE THIS WORKSHOP HAS BEEN POSTPONED
Flooding has meant we have been unable to surveyHelp DCRT monitor the river Rother’s diversity, before and after restoration work. In this workshop we will be sorting through collected kick-samples, identifying and recording the abundance of freshwater invertebrate specimens, with a particular focus on identifying families. Please note this is not a training course, although help is given and there is lots to learn. The ability to use biological identification keys is useful, but not essential and beginners are welcome.
Microscopes will be on hand for some of the identification.
