POSTPONED Data4Nature at Wardsend Cemetery: Bird Survey
Wardsend Cemetery1A Club Mill Rd, Sheffield S6 2FH, UKSheffield & Rotherham Wildlife Trust, DCRT and the friends of Wardsend Cemetery have teamed up to collect Data for Nature as part of the Heritage Lottery Funded Data for Nature project.
We’ll be hosting monthly bird surveys in the Cemetery and on the riverside to help collect data and monitor birdlife in the area
If you have birding skills we’d really appreciate your help surveying, or if you are a beginner come along to practise your skills!

POSTPONED Waymarking Day - Don Valley Way (Swinton Station - Rotherham Station)
Swinton, Mexborough S64 8ASJoin the Friends of the Don Valley Way as we walk the Don Valley Way to replace any missing or damaged way markers along the route.
We will be meeting at Swinton Railway Station and progressing along the Don Valley Way at 10am and will walk to Rotherham Railway Station. It should take 3-4 hours but we can not be sure how long it will take. There are trains from Rotherham to Swinton throughout the day however so it should be easy to get back to the start.
Please wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear on the day. Volunteers must arrive before 10am as we will be leaving then. Please bring your own lunch and drink for the day as we will not be able to provide refreshments on this day. POSTPONED Wildlife Wednesdays - Moss Valley
Join Don Catchment Rivers Trust for a practical conservation volunteer day on the Moss Brook Catchment. All abilities welcome!

Location: Please note, the meeting location varies so you need to email [email protected] for details for where we are meeting.
What to bring: We will provide all necessary equipment and refreshments. All you need to wear is appropriate outdoor clothing (waterproof, long sleeves and trousers) and sturdy shoes. Also feel free to bring your own pair of wellies/waders if you have them. We will have a range of sizes to borrow but can’t guarantee a pair for everyone.
Tasks vary but include: Woody debris installation, scrub control/wetland management, access improvements, natural flood management.
Timings: 10am – 3pm (break 11.30am and 1pm for lunch)
