Data4Nature at Wardsend Cemetery: Bird Survey

Sheffield & Rotherham Wildlife Trust, DCRT and the friends of Wardsend Cemetery have teamed up to collect Data for Nature as part of the Heritage Lottery Funded Data for Nature project.
We’ll be hosting monthly bird surveys in the Cemetery and on the riverside to help collect data and monitor birdlife in the area
If you have birding skills we’d really appreciate your help surveying, or if you are a beginner come along to practise your skills!

Join the Friends of the Don Valley Way as we clear the litter from the area around the Don Near Crimpsall Sluice.
We will be meeting at 10am and finishing at 1pm with a break for refreshments half way through. We will complete a risk assesment on the day to ensure the safety of all volunteers. Please wear suitable clothing for outdoor work.

Wildlife Wednesdays - Moss Valley

On these summer sessions we will be tackling Himalayan Balsam in the Moss Valley. Locations for these days will vary so please email [email protected] for more information.
Timings: We will be meeting at 10am and finishing at 3pm.
What to bring: Please wear long sleeves and trousers to avoid being nettled. If you are staying for the full day please bring a packed lunch. We will provide warm drinks (Tea, coffee ect) and some biscuits.
