What to bring: We will provide all necessary equipment and refreshments. All you need to wear is appropriate outdoor clothing (waterproof, long sleeves and trousers) and sturdy shoes.
Tasks include: Litter picking, channel debris/litter removal
Timings: 10am – 1pm (break 11.30am)

Bat walk at Grassmoor Country Park
Grassmoor Country ParkGrassmoor Country Park, Birkin Lane, Chesterfield, S42 5DAWe will be looking for different species of bats, using bat detectors to hear their fantastic calls (which the human ear cannot detect!). Watch and learn how these incredible nocturnal predators hunt for prey and navigate around the landscape using a special kind of sonar.
