Data4Nature at Wardsend Cemetery: Bird Survey FESTIVE EDITION!
Wardsend Cemetery1A Club Mill Rd, Sheffield S6 2FH, UKSheffield & Rotherham Wildlife Trust, DCRT and the friends of Wardsend Cemetery have teamed up to collect Data for Nature as part of the Heritage Lottery Funded Data for Nature project.
We’ll be hosting monthly bird surveys in the Cemetery and on the riverside to help collect data and monitor birdlife in the area. If you have birding skills we’d really appreciate your help surveying, or if you are a beginner come along to practise your skills!As it’s nearly christmas there will be hot drinks and mince pies after the survey
When: Monday 18th December 2023, 10am-12pm.
Where: Wardsend Cemetery, Club Mill Road, End of Livesey Street, Sheffield

Hexthorpe Park – Preventing Plastic Pollution Litter Pick
Hexthorpe Park240 Urban Rd, Doncaster DN4 0HJ, UKJoin the Don Catchment Rivers Trust as we collect and record the litter we find along the River Don at Hexthorpe Park! We will be recording the data of what litter we have collected on this day for the Preventing Plastic Pollution scheme. This day is a part of the All Hands on the Don Project.
When: Tuesday 19th December 10am-1pm

What to bring: We provide all of the equipment on the day however please wear suitable clothing for outdoor work including sturdy shoes or boots, and long trousers. We can provide wellingtons to borrow on the day but please let us know in advance by emailing [email protected] or contacting task leader Anthony Cox.

Spital Trail - Volunteer Day
Clayton StreetSpital Trail, Chesterfield S41 0HQ, UKJoin the Don Catchment Rivers Trust as we work to remove debris from the rivers near Spital Trail.
When: We will be meeting at 10am and finishing at 1pm with our usual tea break half way through the day.
