POSTPONED - Meadow Survey at Grassmoor Country Park
Grassmoor Country ParkGrassmoor Country Park, Birkin Lane, Chesterfield, S42 5DA—— We have unfortunately had to postpone the meadow surveys at Grassmoor Country Park on 9th July because of the bad weather forecast. A new date will be arranged very shortly and will be shared on our events calendar and FB events. Apologies to anyone who was hoping to join us and we do hope you can make the rearranged date. Please feel free to contact Debbie if you would like her to send you details of the rearranged event directly ([email protected] / 07741 747283). ——Help us monitor the vegetation at Grassmoor Country Park to determine how it changes as a result of our natural flood management and habitat enhancement scheme. We will be doing plant surveys in and around the flood storage features, recording the abundance of particular species. Though some experience of plant ID would be helpful, it’s not essential so please do come along if you would like to get involved and learn about some of the plants found in the country park.
