Join the Don Catchment Rivers Trust in collecting litter from the River Hipper at Queen’s Park. 

What: Litter picking from the River Hipper in wellies/waders. There may be the option to stay on land and help ferry the items to the collection point. 

When: Thursday 11th September, 10am – 1pm. This session may finish earlier if we collect everything we can in that stretch of river. 

Where: Queens Park, Chesterfield, S40 1XZ. We will meet at the slipway into the River Hipper along the cycle route behind the cafe.

There is some free parking on Boythorpe Road or the North Car Park. Please claim back travel expenses including parking. 

What to bring: We provide all of the equipment on the day however please wear suitable clothing for outdoor work including sturdy shoes or boots and long trousers and anything needed for the weather (waterproofs, sun hats etc).
