Join DCRT on a guided circular walk from Conisbrough Railway Station, exploring architecture associated with the River Don and the wider heritage of the Don Gorge. Stops will take in, caves, castle views, the mighty Conisbrough Viaduct and more.

Please meet us at the River Don side of the station. Conisbrough Train Station, Conisbrough, Doncaster, DN12 3DQ.On street Parking is available on Colliery Road near the old Earth Centre Welcome Hall (click here)Access: The walk will take approximately 2 ½ to 3 hours at a leisurely pace, with frequent stops to take in heritage and wildlife.The route is not wholly accessible and sensible clothing and footwear is recommended.Well behaved dogs are welcome.
Dalton Brook - Clean Up
Dalton Parish HallCannot determine address at this location.Join the Don Catchment Rivers Trust to remove litter (and shopping trollies) from in and around the Dalton Brook. Dalton Parish Council have kindly invited us to use the facilities in their hall. They have a community cafe from 9-12pm so feel free to come along early to enjoy some refreshments.
Task: Litter picking. We will be working along the bankside and within the brook to remove litter.

What to bring: We provide all of the equipment on the day however please wear suitable clothing for outdoor work including sturdy shoes or boots and long trousers. We can provide wellingtons to borrow on the day but please let us know in advance by emailing [email protected].
