Rother Rec (Lincoln Street) - Clean Up
Rother Rec - Lincoln Street15 Lincoln St, Chesterfield S40 2TW, UKJoin the Don Catchment Rivers Trust as we help to clean up along the river Rother. If the river levels are low enough and there is litter to remove from the watercourse then we will get in using waders and life jackets. If not, we will stick to the footpaths, the banks and the woods to conduct our litter pick. Toby Perkins MP will be joining us on this session.
When: Thursday 12th March 2026, 10am – 1pm
Where: Please meet on the junction of Rothervale Road and Lincoln Street, S40 2EW

We can provide wellington boots as the site might be quite water logged. Let us know via email in advance ([email protected]) if you would like us to bring some for you.
What to expect: We will be walking along the park, collecting litter and brining it back up to the road. As mentioned above, we will get in the river where possible/if necessary but if not focus on the paths around the park. We will have a break at 11:30 am for refreshments and biscuits, provided by DCRT.
