Denby Dale - Clean Up
Hartcliffe MillsCannot determine address at this location.Join the Don Catchment Rivers Trust as we help to clean up litter from the River Dearne in Denby Dale.
When: Thursday 19th March 2026, 10am-1pm.
Where: We will be meeting round the back of Hartcliffe Mills where there is easiest access to the river. We have permission to meet round there and the DCRT van should be visible. We don’t have the permissions for more than one vehicle to park there so if driving to site, please park elsewhere (such as on Wakefield Road) and walk through the Mills car park and round the back (see red dashed line in screenshot below for walking route through the site).

The site is not paved so please consider the need for good mobility on unstable ground. We will have a break at 11:30 am for refreshments and biscuits, provided by DCRT.
What to bring: We provide all of the equipment on the day however please wear suitable clothing for outdoor work including sturdy shoes or boots and long trousers. We can provide wellingtons to borrow on the day but please let us know in advance by emailing [email protected] to ensure we have your size.
