Join the Friends of the Don Valley Way as we tackle the invasive plant Himalayan Balsam around the canal near Parkgate. We will also be collecting litter on our way to the Balsam site as it is a fair walk. We will be meeting at 10am on Stonerow Way near the foot bridge over the railway line, and will be finishing at 1pm with a break for refreshments half way through.

Please wear suitable clothing for outdoor work including sturdy shoes, long sleeves and trousers to avoid being nettled.

    Join the Don Catchment Rivers Trust as we work to improve the footpath that runs along side Langthwaite Dike buy clearing overgrown vegetation and removing litter from the dike. This day is a part of the All Hands on the Don project.

    When: Tuesday 12th December 10am - 1pm

    Join the Don Catchment Rivers Trust as we collect and record the litter we find along the River Don at Hexthorpe Park! We will be recording the data of what litter we have collected on this day for the Preventing Plastic Pollution scheme. This day is a part of the All Hands on the Don Project.
