This activity is being sponsored by by the Canal & River Trust, who will also have their ‘Explorer’ educational activities on site. THIS ACTIVITY IS NOW FULLY BOOKED. Don Catchment Rivers Trust will be unveiling the new ‘Don Valley Way’ walking trail and heritage walks. ‘Wyre Lady’ will be running free 1 hour trips at 10:30am, 12 noon and 2:00pm. There will be community stalls so you can explore what is happening on the river – Don Gorge Community Group, River Stewardship Company (with displays about their work on Invasive Species), the Environment Agency Flood Resilience team, Yorkshire Wildlife Trust, and local wood carver Andy Rounthwaite. Trans Pennine Trail will be leading a family bike ride, a walking circus & free bike maintenance.
