River Rother Well Dressing at Tapton Lock

12-09-20 09:00 - 18-09-20 15:26
Tapton Lock
Address: 218 Brimington Rd, Chesterfield S41 0ST, UK

Head to Tapton Lock Activity Centre to admire the River Rother well dressing, created by families and people in Chesterfield to celebrate our wonderful River Rother! It will be on display all week until the 18th September.

The River Rother was once considered the most polluted river in Europe, but it is now an urban haven for wildlife. Volunteers are helping DCRT to clean up the river and make it a brighter place to be and enjoy.

A huge thank you to everyone that took part, to Men in Sheds for creating the board and to Tapton Lock Activity Centre for hosting the welldressing!
