Rother Rec – Vol Day
Join us as we work to remove litter from in and around the River Rother at Rother Rec.
When: Thursday 12th November 2026, 10am – 1pm
Where: We will be meeting on the corner of Lincoln Street and Rothervale Road, Chesterfield S40 2TW

What to bring: We provide all of the equipment on the day however please wear suitable clothing for outdoor work including sturdy shoes or boots and long trousers.
What to expect: We will be walking along paved footpaths, collecting litter in categories and eventually bringing it back to where we met. Most of this is on paved paths but there may be some shrubs to pick litter out of too. There will be free refreshments and biscuits at the end, provided by DCRT.
