Join the Friends of the Don VAlley Way as we remove litter from the Swinton Breks and remove overgrown vegetation from the foot path.

We will be meeting at 10am just off Lawrence Drive and finishing at 1pm. Half way through there will be a break for refreshments. Please weafr suitable clothing for outdoor work. If you would like to borrow waders or Wellingtons they will be provided on the day.

    Join the Don Catchment Rivers Trust as we work to improve the footpath that runs along side Langthwaite Dike buy clearing overgrown vegetation and removing litter from the dike. This day is a part of the All Hands on the Don project.

    When: Tuesday 12th December 10am - 1pm

    What to Bring: We provide all of the equipment on the day however please wear suitable clothing for outdoor work including sturdy shoes or boots and long trousers. We can provide wellingtons to borrow on the day but please let us know in advance by emailing [email protected] or contacting task leader Anthony Cox. We also provide a tea break for refreshments.

    Joining us? All are welcome however not all of our sites are completely accessible to all, please check the access advice bellow.     Join the Don Catchment Rivers Trust as we collect and record the litter we find along the River Don at Hexthorpe Park! We will be recording the data of what litter we have collected on this day for the Preventing Plastic Pollution scheme. This day is a part of the All Hands on the Don Project. 

    When: Tuesday 19th December 10am-1pm
