Sally Hyslop – Community Engagement Officer

Sally joined the Trust as Project Assistant for the Living Heritage of the River Don Project. Sally studied Zoology at the University of Sheffield and after her studies worked for the National Council for Voluntary Youth Services, on placement with The Conservation Volunteers, delivering wildlife clubs to primary schools. She later achieved a place on the Natural History Museum’s Identification Trainers for the Future traineeship where she studied UK biodiversity and developed skills in teaching and people-engagement. After completing her training Sally returned to Yorkshire, where she worked as a surveyor for protected species, before joining the team at DCRT.
