Best parking is at Dronfield Train Station and walk down to the meeting point. Remember to keep your parking receipt to claim expenses. 13 | 14 - Volunteer Day – Friends of the Don Valley Way – Dalton Brook
10:00 -13:00 14-01-20 Aldwarke Ln, Rawmarsh, Rotherham S65 3SW, UK  Join the Friends of the Don Valley Way as we clean up the area around Dalton Brook. We will be meeting at 10am in the ASDA carpark just off Aldwarke road, and finishing at 1pm with a break half way through for refreshments. Please wear sutible clothing for outdoor work. 12:00 -15:00 14-01-20 Cannot determine address at this location. Join Russ Hedley for a short training coure where you’ll learn how to identify common native trees in winter. Tree identification is trickier in winter without obvious leaves or fruits, however with practise you can learn how to identify trees by their bark, twigs and buds. | 15 - Wildlife Wednesdays – Moss Valley
10:00 -15:00 15-01-20 1 Ridgeway Moor, Ridgeway, Sheffield S12 3XY, UK  Join the Don Catchment Rivers Trust for Wildlife Wednesday’s in the Moss Valley every third Wednesday of the month. These volunteer days aimed at restoring the riverine environment. All abilities welcome! Timings: 10am – 3pm with a break for lunch and refreshments. Feel free to come to part of the day if required. What to bring: We will provide all necessary equipment and refreshments. All you need to wear is appropriate outdoor clothing and sturdy shoes. Tasks include: scrub/vegetation clearance, wood debris placement, footpath maintenance, habitat creation and access improvements. Location: The meeting point will change each week depending on what task we will be doing.
