Data4Nature at Wardsend Cemetery: Butterfly Survey
Wardsend Cemetery1A Club Mill Rd, Sheffield S6 2FH, UKSheffield & Rotherham Wildlife Trust, DCRT and the friends of Wardsend Cemetery have teamed up to collect Data for Nature as part of the Heritage Lottery Funded Data for Nature project.
We’ll be hosting two butterfly surveys this summer in the Cemetery and on the riverside to help collect data and monitor wildlife in the area
If you have butterfly ID skills we’d really appreciate your help surveying, or if you are a beginner come along to practise your skills!

POSTPONED Shirtcliffe Brook Volunteer Day (Flockton Park)
261 Beaver Hill Rd, Sheffield S13 9QA, UKTHIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED DUE TO BAD WEATHER
Join the Friends of the Don Valley Way as we work with the Friends of Shircliffe to clean up the Shircliffe Brook as it runs through Flockton Park.
We will be meeting at 10am in the small car park off Beaver Hill Road and finishing at 1pm. There will be a break half way through for refreshments. We will complete a risk assessment on the day to assure the safety of all our volunteers. Please wear appropriate outdoor clothing and sturdy footwear. On the day we will be providing wellies and waders for people to borrow however we have a limited amount of sizes so please bring sturdy footwear.

Queens Park - Volunteer Day

Metered parking off boythorpe road, volunteers can claim expenses.
What to bring: We will provide all necessary equipment and refreshments. All you need to wear is appropriate outdoor clothing (waterproof, long sleeves and trousers) and sturdy shoes.
Tasks include: Litter picking, channel debris/litter removal
Timings: 10am – 1pm (break 11.30am)
