Join the Don Catchment Rivers Trust as we work to build a stile to improve acess to the DVW extension. This day is a part of the All Hands on the Don project. 

When: Wednesday 14th January 2026 10am-2pm (Please note this day may run longer or shorter as we need to complete the work on the day)

Where: We will be meeting on Low Ln, Stainforth, Doncaster DN7 5SN (this adress will not take you to the meeting location). What 3 words: ///reduction.frail.wonderfully. What to bring: We provide all of the equipment on the day, however please wear suitable clothing for outdoor work including sturdy shoes or boots and long trousers. We can provide wellingtons to borrow on the day, but please let us know in advance by emailing [email protected] or contacting Project Assistant Ben Curl. Please bring your own packed lunch if you would like to stay for the whole day. 

What are we doing: We will first be digging holes to put in the new legs for the stile steps and postcreting them in. We will also be using the drill to attach the top of the steps. We will be installing rubber matts below the stiles to protect the top of the floodbank from foot traffic around the stile. Finally we will be removing the materials from the old stile from the site.
