WE’VE HAD TO CANCEL THIS VOLUNTEER DAY, SORRY FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE.

Join Don Catchment Rivers Trust for a volunteer day cleaning-up the Hipper. All abilities welcome!

Location: Queen’s Park, Chesterfield S40 2BF. Meeting on the footpath, near the gated entrance to the river just behind the cafe. Metered parking off boythorpe road, volunteers can claim expenses.

What to bring: We will provide all necessary equipment and refreshments. All you need to wear is appropriate outdoor clothing (waterproof, long sleeves and trousers) and sturdy shoes.

Tasks include: Litter picking, debris removal, vegetation maintenance, invasive species management and access improvements.

Timings: Day runs 10am – 1pm but feel free to come whenever suits. We have a tea break around 11.30am.

    Joining us? All are welcome however not all of our sites are completely accessible to all, please check the access advice below.     When: Thursday 9th May 2024, 10am – 1pm

    Join the Don Catchment Rivers Trust as we work to remove litter near the river Rother along Wain Avenue, Chesterfield 

     

    When: Thursday 16th May 2024, 10am – 1pm

     

    Where: Meet near the junction of Camlough Walk and Wain Avenue. The van will be just up Camlough lane where there is free parking/no double yellow lines.
