Join the Don Catchment Rivers Trust as we team up with Sheffield City Council to put mulch down around the trees we planted back in January. This is in Linley Bank Meadows (within Shire Brook Valley Nature Reserve). We will be hauling mulch out of the truck and putting it around the trees to suppress weeds, keep moisture locked in the soil, and it rots down to feed the trees. Please note this event can be postponed in the event of bad weather, please let us know if you intend on attending so we can update you.
When: Wednesday 26th March, 10am-12pm
Where: We will be meeting at the nature reserve car park just off Beighton Road. It has locked gates which will be open for our group.
