Help us sow the meadows of Grassmoor Country park!
We’ll be sowing meadow seed onto the newly created features in the park that will help slow the flow of storm waters into the river network and diversify the wildlife habitat within the park.

 

When: Saturday 22nd October, 10am-1pm

 

Where: Grassmoor Country Park, meeting in the south car park off Birkin Lane, S42 5DA (parking is free)

What to bring: Walking boots or wellies that you don’t mind getting a bit muddy!

If heavy rain is forecast during or after sowing, we may need to postpone the event so please keep an eye on our social media if the weather is looking dodgy! We will also email you if we need to postpone if you’ve been in touch to let us know you’re coming.

    When: We will be meeting at 10am and finishing at 1pm with our usual tea break half way through the day.
