    A free event for residents of Chesterfield over 55 who would like to engage with health and wellbeing providers.

    Why not come along and find out what’s happening in your local area – from local groups, services and information. There will be complimentary refreshments, home-made cakes, fruit, small giveaways and a free raffle for everybody who attends the event.

    DCRT will be attending with their stall and information on how to start volunteering!

    Join the Friends of the Don Valley Way as they work to pick liter from the Swinton Dike and the park surrounding it. We will be meeting at 10am and finishing at 1pm with a break half way through for refreshments.

    Please wear suitable clothing for outdoor work including sturdy footwear and a warm coat.

    Join Don Catchment Rivers Trust for a volunteer day cleaning-up the River Rother. All abilities welcome!

    Location: Meet at the junction of Camlough Walk and Wain Ave, Chesterfield, S41 0FD. 

    What to bring: We will provide all necessary equipment and refreshments. All you need to wear is appropriate outdoor clothing (waterproof, long sleeves and trousers) and sturdy shoes.

    Tasks include: Litter picking, debris removal, vegetation maintenance, invasive species management and access improvements.

    Timings: Day runs 10am – 1pm but feel free to come whenever suits. We have a tea break around 11.30am.
