Join the Friends of the Don Valley Way as we remove litter from in and around the River Don in Central Rotherham. We will be meeting at 10am outside the Chapel on the Bridge, and finishing at 1pm with a break half way through for refreshments.
Please wear suitable clothing for outdoor work including sturdy footwear.

An evening course delivered by Principal Ecologist and bat expert Robert Bell on how to identify, record and survey the bat species found around the rivers in Chesterfield. The evening will finish with a dusk bat walk around the river Rother and the Avenue Washlands, where we will practise using bat detectors to identify different species by their characteristic sounds.

Join Don Catchment Rivers Trust for a volunteer day cleaning-up the River Rother. All abilities welcome!
Location: Meet in car park of GymGroup next to Harriot Drive, S40 2ED.
What to bring: We will provide all necessary equipment and refreshments. All you need to wear is appropriate outdoor clothing and sturdy shoes.
Tasks include: Litter picking, debris removal, vegetation maintenance, invasive species management and access improvements.
Timings: Day runs 10am – 1pm but feel free to come whenever suits. We have a tea break around 11.30am.
