Meeting at 21:00 to start at 9:25. Please arrive promptly as surveys must begin 20 minutes before sunset. We will be meting at the end of Guiltherwaite Cresent in Canklow. The survey will be in Canklow Woods and will be a walk so wear appropriate clothing and footwear. We hope to be finished for 22:30. We have limited spaces so booking is vital! As part of the Yorkshire wildlife trusts 50 celebrations young people will be taking over Potteric Carr for the day hosting talks, guided walks, stalls and activities around the site aimed at engaging 11 to 24 year olds with nature. Don Valley Way Volunteer Day: Ickles Litter-Pick Meeting Point: Meet in the small car-park on Brinsworth Street, Rotherham. Go over the level-crossing and take the second right turn. Time: 10am-1pm with a break for refreshments. Please note that there are no toilets available to use on this site.
Please wear suitable clothing for outdoor work – sturdy boots and long trousers recommended.
