What to bring: We will provide all necessary equipment and refreshments. All you need to wear is appropriate outdoor clothing and sturdy shoes.
Tasks include: Litter picking, debris removal, vegetation maintenance, invasive species management and access improvements.
Timings: Day runs 10am – 1pm but feel free to come whenever suits. We have a tea break around 11.30am.

Join Don Catchment Rivers Trust (in partnership with the Dronfield Civic Society) for a volunteer day cleaning-up the River Drone. Supervised children and all abilities welcome!
Location: Please meet at Mill Lane Nature Reserve on Mill lane, Dronfield, S18 1XG. Best parking is at Dronfield Train Station and walk down to the meeting point. Remember to keep your parking receipt to claim expenses.

Join the Friends of the Don Valley Way as we clean up the area around Dalton Brook. We will be meeting at 10am in the ASDA carpark just off Aldwarke road, and finishing at 1pm with a break half way through for refreshments.

Join Russ Hedley for a short training coure where you’ll learn how to identify common native trees in winter. Tree identification is trickier in winter without obvious leaves or fruits, however with practise you can learn how to identify trees by their bark, twigs and buds.
This course will take place at Hollingwood Hub with a site vistit to the nearby West Wood.

Join the Don Catchment Rivers Trust for Wildlife Wednesday’s in the Moss Valley every third Wednesday of the month. These volunteer days aimed at restoring the riverine environment. All abilities welcome!
Timings: 10am – 3pm with a break for lunch and refreshments. Feel free to come to part of the day if required.
What to bring: We will provide all necessary equipment and refreshments. All you need to wear is appropriate outdoor clothing and sturdy shoes.
Tasks include: scrub/vegetation clearance, wood debris placement, footpath maintenance, habitat creation and access improvements.
Location: The meeting point will change each week depending on what task we will be doing.
