    Volunteer Training: Identify & Survey Bats

    An evening course delivered by Principal Ecologist and bat expert Robert Bell on how to identify, record and survey the bat species found around the rivers in Chesterfield. The evening will finish with a dusk bat walk around the river Rother and the Avenue Washlands, where we will practise using bat detectors to identify different species by their characteristic sounds.

     

    Location: Grassmoor Community Centre [New St, Grassmoor, Chesterfield S42 5EE]
    Time: 6.15-9.15pm 

     

    Free to DCRT Volunteers, nominal fee for non-volunteers of £10.
